Mountain City Meat Company has recently increased our grinding capacity with new "state-of-the-art" grinding, forming and freezing equipment.

We process patties for both food service and retailers. We produce individually quick-frozen patties, seasoned IQF patties and fresh cryovac patties and fresh/frozen cryovac patties.

We offer private label programs and new product development, including package and label design. Our retail packaging includes three and five pound bags as well as boxes. We offer Certified Angus Beef patties for food service and retail as well.

We can produce patties - blend, shape, size, seasoned, fresh or frozen - to your requirements.

The Fresh/Frozen Ground Beef Patties Process
  1. Raw materials are from fresh, domestic-fed cattle.
  2. All raw materials are tested for E.coli 0157:H7
  3. All raw materials are tested and inspected for proper lean to fat ratios
  4. During final grind, a bone, sinew and cartilage collecting system is incorporated.
  5. All patties are produced on Formax patty forming equipment, utilizing tender form attachments to insure a tender patty bite.
  6. All finished goods pass through a metal detection device.
  7. All fresh and frozen ground beef products are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and blends.
  8. MCMC has recently expanded our ground beef production facility tripling our production capability. It is recognized as one of the most modern and efficient ground beef processing facilities of it's kind.
  9. Full Line of fresh ground beef patties - cryovaced with an 18 day shelf life from date of production.
  10. Full line of IQF ground beef patties in a variety of sizes, shapes and blends.
