Food Safety is of paramount importance at Mountain City Meat Company. Our production facility has earned Superior ratings for food safety, sanitation and operational practices from Silliker and Guardian Laboratories. Moreover, our HAACP system is audited annually for adequacy and compliance.

Our Quality Systems include comprehensive raw material, finished product, analytical, microbiological, statistical, sensory, packaging, technical, and supplier programs. We work closely with our customers to develop quality systems and standards that fit the needs of their products and customer base.

We continuously improve our systems and processes through our Total Quality Management Program (TQM) which we call "Continuos Improvement." Our efforts include:
